Hot Picks
Why does my ipod get so hot when it is on my ihome?

It’s always super hot when I pick it up off of the port. Why is it doing this and how can I fix it?

iPods only get hot from the battery. Sometimes it’s no biggie, but sometimes it can be bad for the iPod, mine just gets warm whenever I have my Mac Pro charge it. This happens whenever the battery recieves too much power at a time. I think iPods should recieve energy at no more than 75 W for charging. So if theres more, then the battery gets hot, so the “iHome” is charging your iPod with too much energy. So it might be defective. Either that or the battery is deffective or worn out and it can’t take as much energy as it’s supposed to so maybe your iPod’s battery is bad.
