KARAOKE!! wondering how to burn the correct format for my karaoke machine?
My karaoke machine - well I brought it for my daughter for xmas.
It plays cd+g files and cd's.

The question is - I have lots of cd+g files on my p.c as the 2 seperate files, also I have the mpeg converted files.What sort of dics do I need to create for the machine to recognise it because at the minute it isn't recognising anything :S I have tried VCD on a CD, and also DVD data with the mpegs on and with running out of time to order discs offline, and living abroad I am hoping I can sort my daughter some disc's so she doesn't have the machine and no music. All sensible help is well appreciated

The machine plays CD+G discs (Compact Disc plus Graphics). These are NOT video discs and are not DVDs. They are audio tracks with lyrics encoded into the normally unused subchannel of the track.
The song files you have (the 2 separate files per song) are known as MP3+G. You can create karaoke CDG discs from these files that will play in a the karaoke machine. You simply need software that will encode the files together and burn them to a blank CD-R.
