Hey im planing to format my wii and i still do want to keep my game and channel data. plus…?

plus…i have an sd card. and i know the newest update has the sd card channel. so if i save my game data to the card, then format it, then after that i update again to 4.0 again(to have the sd card channel), will that work?

Um…You don’t have to format your Wii to update it. You just click on perform Wii update….Nothing is lost in the update, unless you are in possession of any hacks like the Homebrew channel or mods, then you might lose Wii stuff.
