Dvd Player Home
Is there any way I can burn my smaller avi files to dvd and have them work in my home dvd player?
I have tried Making a data dvd with nero but it wouldnt work in my home player. If I convert them from avi to dvd format they go from being a couple hundred mbs in size (which is just the right size for what im trying to do) to just over 1 gig, Which is way to big. Is there anyway I could get it to work in avi format or is there another format i could convert to that would be smaller than dvd format but still work in my older dvd player?
Nope it is called a dvd player for a reason you will need to make the avi into the dvd standard vob format for your player to read it. And yes expect like a 700mb avi file to be turned into 1 gig and over when you make it dvd format. However you can squash down the file size of the dvd standard with the following application.
