Difference between multimedia and home theater projectors?

Looking for something to watch movies and game on. I was looking at projectors and noticed the insanely low prices on multimedia projectors at best buy. And this one i'm checking out has a component video adapter! Would this compliment my xbox 360? Or should i look elsewhere?

I believe that the basic differences are brightness and HDMI inputs. A multimedia projector is more geared towards computer display in an office training/conference room environment where you may not have control over the lights. A HT projector won't be as bright unless you get into the $30k+ range, so you 'll need dimmable lights and window treatments; but virtually all of the HT projectors now have HDMI inputs which is substantially better then component video. The projector that I personally have and have been selling for HT is the Panasonic PT-AE2000U, but the new PT-AE3000U starts shipping this week and it's $1,000 less then the 2000! ($2,499 MSRP) It's 1600 lumens with 3 HDMI inputs. Good Luck!
