Circuit design, audio processing?

Ok, I have minimal understanding of circuit design, but I can follow a schematic well enough. Here's what I'd like to do...
Create a circuit with 4 LEDs. Assign each LED to a different audio frequency (60,80,100,120hz probably). Have the LEDs light up when each frequency peaks. Basically a spectrum analyzer I think?
